Lyle’s construction career began at an early age in Iowa, and like many folks in his profession, the snowy and cold winters soon drew him to the West. He settled in Prescott Valley with his family, which was challenging in the early days of Arizona’s growth.
But, Lyle easily gained the respect of the other local contractors as he continued his residential and commercial building in Prescott and the surrounding area, which allowed him to add the southwest style of architecture to his portfolio of building styles.
As a graduate of the Master Carpenter program, Lyle learned that it is imperative to be able to be proficient in all aspects of the building process. The project contractor MUST be able to be the framer, the plumber, the electrician, and so on. Even though licensed tradespersons usually are in charge of their own segment for the job, the contractor is the one that should be able to answer any question regarding the project.
